Terms of Use (draft)
This website is provided for informational purposes about the KrovaCoin protocol and software. Use of this site, and use of any KrovaCoin software, is at your own risk. KrovaCoin software is open source and provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security, financial instrument, or investment in any jurisdiction. No price predictions, return projections, or profit promises appear anywhere on this site, by policy -- if you see one, it did not come from this project.
Privacy Policy (draft)
This website does not require account creation and does not knowingly collect personal information beyond standard, aggregate web server logs (IP address, user agent, requested path) retained for operational and security purposes. The block explorer displays only public blockchain data; it does not collect information about visitors beyond what's needed to serve pages and enforce rate limits.
KrovaCoin wallet software (planned) is designed to be non-custodial: private keys are generated and stored client-side only, and are never transmitted to or collected by any project-operated server.
Risk Disclosure (draft)
Cryptocurrency involves substantial risk. Before interacting with KrovaCoin in any way, understand that:
- KrovaCoin is pre-launch, unaudited software. It has not undergone the external security audit planned ahead of any public network launch (see the Whitepaper's roadmap). Software may contain bugs, including consensus-critical ones.
- Cryptocurrency values, if and when KROV is ever tradable, can be extremely volatile. You could lose some or all of any value associated with holding it.
- Self-custody means you are solely responsible for securing your keys/seed phrase. Lost keys mean permanently lost access -- there is no recovery mechanism this project can provide.
- Regulatory treatment of cryptocurrency varies by jurisdiction and is evolving. It is your responsibility to understand and comply with the laws that apply to you.
- A significant portion of KROV supply is held by the project (see Transparency). While disclosed and, for two allocations, consensus-locked, premined supply held by a project is an inherent concentration risk common to this class of asset.
Jurisdiction and entity
The publishing entity, its jurisdiction of formation, and its regulatory classification analysis for KROV are pending completion of the legal review gate described above, and will be published here once finalized.
